Medora North Dakota

We had a lot of fun at Medora. I really loved the musical and the food was so tasty. Mommy took a lot of pictures again. This man is smoking a cigar which is bad for you, but Mommy thought he looked like an old time cowboy.

Here we are in line waiting for our yummy food. It was a pitchfork fondue, and the steak was cooked in these huge vats of really hot oil. I had a hot dog and I liked it a lot.
Daddy and Lulu ate a lot, but I mostly danced. They had a live band that played music while we ate. It was fun to see all their instruments.
Here is a picture of all the pitchforks and the large oil vats. I wouldn't want to have to clean all that mess up. Wow.
Here is a picture of some of the musical. They sang and danced and put on a really nice show.
We had a good time celebrating the anniversary of Teddy Roosevelt, the stadium, and Medora. I even received a fun party hat. It was so much fun. We even saw my cousin Weston there. It was a lot of fun. Thanks for all the good times!

Here is a picture of Granma and Bumpa Entz. We all went out to eat, but you don't see me because I am hiding under the table. I didn't want to come out for the picture.

We went for a Trolley ride with Granma and Bumpa too. I really enjoyed myself. Bumpa bought me a trolley whistle that I accidentally dropped over the edge. I wanted Mommy to go get it, but she told me the train was going too fast. The conductor lady gave me a new one. That was so nice.
Getting ready to board the Trolley
Lulu playing with Granma's yarn.
The Trolley was really interesting. It has a big history. The Fort Lincoln Trolley has 8 benches that flip over when you change direction. It is an open trolley car, and was really used in the railroad. It crosses the Heart River over two really old steel arched bridges (1898). The Trolley Car we rode in was a replica of one used for transportation between 4th Street and the State Capitol Building in the 1920's. Pretty Cool Huh. I can blow my whistle. TOOOOOOT TOOOOT We had a big family meal at Aunt Rachael's house. I had a lot of fun playing with my cousins, building a really long train, and wearing these fun boots. :) Gee Haw Cowboy!

We also went the the Heritage Center in Bismarck. They had a really cool museum with a lot of DINOSAURS in it. Some of them were found right in North Dakota. Pretty cool.

Making a wish at the wishing pond.

The great Mastadon. Look at how little Lulu looks. Now that was a BIG animal.

Look at the fossil bones of this water predator. I wouldn't want to swim in the water with him!

Here Lulu and I are riding on a wooden horse. The museum had a fun place for us to play and learn all at the same time.

Mommy, Lulu and I just outside a teepee made from the bark of trees. I bet it took a long time to build.

our trip to see Granma and Bumpa Entz

This last week we went to visit my granma and Bumpa Entz (Zentz). They live in Bismarck North Dakota. It was a very long drive. It took a long time. We went straight and then turned and then went straight and then turned again and then we were there! We did a lot of things. We stayed in a hotel that had a pool. We went swimming with Mommy and Daddy and had a lot of fun. Both Lulu and I really liked jumping off the edge into Mommy and Daddy's arms.

Me inside my floating donut. I love the water!

Lulu walking by the pool. She liked to play with the drains.

Lulu in her donut. It had a little seat in it to keep her up.

Getting ready to jump in the water.
My jump.

We had a lot of fun at the zoo too. I loved the bears and the prairie dogs. I really really liked the train ride. We went to the zoo with Uncle Nathan and his family. Lilly played in the sand at the playground and I liked the slide. Thanks for inviting us Uncle Nathan.

The train at the zoo was a lot of fun.

Mommy was missing her sister, and so we visited her in Idaho for an whole week. I had a lot of fun. We were there over the fourth of July so we lit off fireworks with the Yost family. It was a lot of fun. I really liked the sparklers, and Lulu didn't even get scared when the big fireworks went off. In fact, she fell asleep. I had a lot of fun playing with my cousins and Mommy talked a lot with Aunt Jennifer too. They even painted the house! Thanks for the fun time you guys. :)
