Here is the video of my cousins and I doing our group dance. It was so much fun. We hope you enjoy it.

I had my first Gymnastics recital today. It was a lot of fun. My cousins were there, my aunts and uncles were there, and my friends Alissa and Brientze came to watch. I had so much fun. Mommy recorded it, so hopefully we will be able to post it soon. :) I love gymnastics or "gimnastics" as I say it. I used to be so scared to go and now I love going. It is so fun to see all my cousins there too. I loved doing the rings, the pommel horse, and the group dance too. You have to practice a lot to build the muscles and endurance that you need to do all the events. I tried climbing the rope, but I didn't get up very far. I know if I keep practicing, then I will get better and be able to do a lot more cool Kicks (tricks)!

Here are some pictures too. :) Thanks Aunt Michelle for being a great teacher.

Mommy cut my hair just for the recital. I asked her if I will still be handsome with it cut and she said I would be even more handsome. Mommy loves me a lot.

Lulu had her hair done too. Mommy braided it. She was really still for her.
Here is the back of her hair. It was taken apart by the time we left the recital though. Silly girl.

I love to do forward rolls. I was a little nervous at first, but after Aunt Michelle gave me some encouragment, I was ok.
Look at how strong I am. I love doing the rings.
I need to practice more on the rope, but it was still fun.

This is me holding my "Golden Man" trophy. The theme was imagin and become or something similar to that. My teachers asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up and I told them I wanted to be a Daddy.

Here we are after the recital. Thanks for coming everyone. :)

Watching the birdies and Spring (winter?) Fun

We all love the little birdies that eat from the feeder. They are so cute to watch and to listen to. Daddy fills the feeder a lot. The birds love the thistle and it is amazing to see that they can open up those tiny seeds to get at the nut in the center. Today it was snowing and the birdies were all out having a lot of fun eating the feed. Lulu and i loved to watch them.

Looking outside at the birds.

Laughing at each other.
Lauging outside while playing in the snow.
Our little Frosty. I like to sing the Snowman song. Mommy recorded it. We'll try and post it soon.

Happy Easter everyone! We are so excited for Spring to be here, and Easter helps it seem even closer. We had a lot of fun today. The Easter Bunny left us baskets and then we went to the neighborhood easter egg hunt in the park. It was a lot of fun. Lulu was a little scared of all the people and kids that were looking for eggs, but she figured it out pretty quickly how to put the eggs in her basket. I found my eggs with no problem. Now we get to enjoy all the yummy goodies inside. We hope your day was filled with fun too.

Wow! Look at what I got!

We are the luckiest kids ever!

I have all my eggs in a basket!

Is this bunny a little scary? Lulu thinks so.

Can I get a "Hi Five?"
We know that tomorrow is really Easter and we get to celebrate the resurrection. We are thankful for Jesus and all that he has done for us. Happy Easter everyone. We love you!

So Mommy, Lulu and I went to go by a fish. I picked him out all by myself. I named him Friend first, but then I changed my mind and I named him Happy Dopey Friend. I loved my fish. Mommy told me that fishies need to stay in the water, but I didn't listen. Here is Mommy with the scoop.

We went Tuesday afternoon to get Timmy a fish. We went during Daddy's lunch break so he could be there with us. We picked up a tank and Timmy picked out his fish. We talked a lot about how fish breathe water and that they can't come out of the water or they will die.

So we get home and get everything put together and then we went outside to play. A few hours later we were outside again and Alissa, our neighbor came by. It was almost 7:30. Timmy loves Alissa and he was telling her about his fish. While Alissa and I were talking, Timmy ran inside. He came back a little while longer and was trying to get Alissa's attention. When she looked down she said "Is that real?" To my shock, Timmy had the fish in his grasp and was trying to show it to Alissa.

I said in a very hurried voice, "Timmy, get that fish back in the tank or it will die!" So he quickly ran upstairs to put the fish in the tank. When I got inside and up to his room, there was water everywhere, but the fish was back in the tank. He was swimming around, but I was pretty sure he wouldn't make it. 1. I didn't know how Timmy even got it out of the tank and how much trauma that had caused, and 2. I wasn't exactly sure how long he had been out of the tank. Poor little fish.

When I told Timmy that the fish might die, he said, "But I will be so so sad without my Happy Dopey Friend!" and big tears started rolling down his cheeks. I told him we would just have to wait and see what happens.

Well, I am sad to report that Happy Dopey Friend passed away two days later. So on Thursday we cleaned out the tank, got four new goldfish (whose names change daily) for Timmy. He loves them and when we were looking at them, we aksed him, "Now what do we do with the fish?" He replied, "Leave them in the tank or they die." It was a hard lesson, but I think he learned it.

We also bought Lulu a fish too.

Timmy's four fish. Two of them are named Beater and Meeni-Miney-Mo. The other two names change quite frequently.
